Meet Romeo

Romeo is my first dog, and when he tore his CCL back in June, I had no idea what that even meant! Thankfully, with our vet’s recommendation, we were referred to Dr. Dismukes at the Veterinary Orthopedic and Vision Center. From the moment we walked in, I knew we were in the right place. The staff was incredibly friendly, took time to explain every surgery option, and guided both Romeo and me through each step of the process.

When surgery day came, I felt completely at peace leaving him there. The team kept me updated throughout, and the procedure was faster than I expected. They made sure I knew exactly what recovery would look like and how to help Romeo heal well.

Fast forward eight weeks, and it feels like I have a whole new dog! Watching old videos, I can see how much pain he was in before the surgery. I’m so thankful for the amazing team at VOVC and the incredible results from Romeo’s TPLO surgery!
